Bio:QI Haotian is Associate Professor at the School of International Studies, Peking University. He also serves as Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Deputy Director of the Center for International Security and Peace Studies (CISAP), and Secretary General of the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding (iGCU). His research interests cut across four major areas: technological transition and national security, the intersection between military strategy and technology, conflict management, and social science methodology. His recent work focuses on the implications and governance of emerging and disruptive technologies in military applications, as well as their impact on interstate security relations and strategic stability. He teaches courses in International Relations Theory, International Security, Strategic Studies, Military Science, Game Theory, and International Public Policy.
