The SIS Alumni Association of Peking University is a social organization composed of alumni from the School of International Studies (SIS) and its predecessor departments. Established in May 2000, it operates as a branch of the Peking University Alumni Association (PKUAA). Its mission is to build a platform for alumni engagement, strengthen ties between alumni and the school as well as the broader university community, and support alumni career development and institutional advancement.
As a cradle for cultivating global governance and diplomatic talent, SIS has educated over ten thousand outstanding graduates at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Our alumni are active in politics, diplomacy, academia, business, and international organizations, serving as key contributors to China’s global engagement and international affairs.

Alumni Services

1.Information Services

Through WeChat Official Accounts, alumni mini-programs, and other digital platforms, the Association regularly shares SIS updates, alumni news, and event information, facilitating online registration, networking, and resource sharing.

2.Lifelong Learning

The Association provides continuous learning opportunities by organizing alumni salons, high-level forums, visits to international organizations, and “Return to the Classroom” programs. These initiatives help alumni stay at the forefront of academic research while expanding their global perspectives and cross-cultural competencies.

3.Career and Professional Development

The Association supports recent graduates through job postings, talent referrals, and the annual PKU SIS Career Development Forum. It fosters industry-academia collaboration by building alumni networks and connecting students with internship and mentorship opportunities. Programs like the Practice Mentor, Career Advisor, and Alumni Mentorship Initiative integrate alumni expertise to broaden career horizons for SIS members.

Campus Resources

Alumni may apply for the Peking University Alumni Card, which grants access to campus facilities, free entry to the Museum of Peking University History and the Arthur M. Additional benefits through the Alumni Enterprise Partnership Program are regularly updated (Note: Services and policies are subject to official announcements by the Peking University Alumni Association).
